In Mbale, in addition to the hatchery implementation, Kahoda is implementing a tree nursery bed  which is acting as a learning center to the natives of the area and the native communities are donated with fruit and vegetable seedlings to zero malnutrition. This is as well done to promote environmental integrity and to improve nutritional values among the surrounding communities. In addition, Kahoda is operating a produce store in Mbale district- Uganda which is contributing 2.5% poverty alleviation within the sub county.
